Aged in 40% new French and American Oak barrels and 60% seasoned Oak barrels for three years. Aged 3 years in bottle. It was a spectacular vintage for all varietals in 2001. The notoriously tightly wound Cab Franc character was allowed to mellow in bottle while I developed my El Ojo Rojo label! A spice ball of love, this wine is ready to drink now.
